The 6th Trip To Bangkok

We were in Bangkok last Monday for the 6th time for Dania’s clubfoot follow up. Dania as excited since she did not sleep during the entire journey but already tired and almost slept when we almost reached Suvarnabumi Airport.


Look at the above photo. Her feet look amazing kan? Alhamdullilah, berkat ‘usaha tangga kejayaan’ from both of us…

Dr Amnuay told us that Dania’s feet is at perfect condition BUT he is quite annoys with Dania’s heel condition. Still tight but the feet still can be flatten.I still remember one of the specialist told us that Dania's clubfeet is shorter than the normal one, that's why kaki dia jengket. Another one pulak claimed that Dania's feet is so rigid and can not be corrected with casting and she must do another surgery(the best solution konon)...Sengal betul ...Pak Andak sey selalu kato Kueh koci Kueh Kodok, Tak ngoti, ontok-ontok...hahahaha

He said he do no want to do another release since the 2nd surgery of Dania’s feet (done in HKL) has weaken the heel. Therefore, another release of the heel cord will make Dania’s feet weaker. He taught us how to stretch Dania’s feet to improve her heel condition (which you can’t find this in HKL…;p). The another release will be the last resort and we have to try to avoid it but in HKL, it is highly recommended . Yang bestnye tuh kat HKL during the last consultation that we had , one specialist said the surgery will be done at the side of Dania’s feet, another specialist said the surgery will be done at heel area. Seriously, they do not know what are they talking about.As a parent and human being, will you confident with this 2 different opinion and recommendation?
Yes, I am stil angry with this people..;p

Dr Amnuay also worried seeing Dania still can not walk at the age of 1 year 4 months. I was about to tell him that we’ve been so naïve and has wasted Dania’s time in casting for a year in HKL where the result is so unconvincing and bad.Yes, I’m still angry. Dania still scared to walk and she loves to stand but only for few minutes.Since her feet is perfectly like normal feet, we supposed to train her to walk ‘ tatih’ daily and Dr Amnuay has allowed us to let Dania’s feet free from the shoe on daytime. Another follow up check up will be on 16th September (yes, fasting month).Oh ya, the hospital bill is only 1,200Baht @ RM120.Murahkan?



We went to Siam Paragon, Central World(again!!)...naik sky train..takde lah susah sangat...Bangkok is still on sale but I didnt buy anything, sayang duitku..:)
