Kindy Hunters

Initially I've planned to enroll Dania to kindy when she is 5.
That was early this year..so we don't bother to start our kindy scout.
But now since we r moving out to BP, we need to find a kindy + day care..
So tak payah lah Dania spent 1 year in new nursery then change to another kindy...

Her Abah gave me clear direction...in short 1st main criteria..
He wants to send Dania into English Islamic Kindy...
So that is one of the main criteria.

Criteria 2 : Kindy + DAYCARE..I just can't trust any transportation service yet..:p

Criteria 3 : If possible practising Khalifah Module..ada academic, co-curriculum, qiraati, adab, Iqra, playgroup etc etc..
Less homework, please...Takde langsung lagi bagus..exceptional when she turns to 6..

Criteria 4 : Teachers - loving, dedicated, soft-spoken & module muslimah...Kindy - clean, safety, cheerful, big space..

Criteria 5 : Affordable..:D

I've shortlisted few..

So today I went to

1. Dzul Iman, Bukit Rimau

Just about 5 minutes from our new house..Corner house with big land..Next to Surau, and Sek Rendah Bukit Rimau. We need to went trough a guard but the principal said, next time we just can come in from back gate. They offers playgroup, kindergarten (with half day & full day care),taekwando, Swimming (coming soon)..The place is still newly open and the kindy will only open next year.

Principal was there..She briefly explain the Khalifah Method..The programme is very attractive..She explained the target & expectation from your children..

Fee is okay..within our budget...hehe..

2. Little Caliph, Kota Kemuning

About 10-15 minutes from our new house. Located at one of the corner Semi-D. Very near to Sek Ren Bukit Kemuning.Already operated and we met some of the kids. The kids are very cheerful & just had their lunch.Waiting for their nap time..The older children still doing their group discussion..Very cute..kecik2 dah ada group discussion..Very clean, tidy & very chearful environment..

The principal was not there but the teacher briefed us and bring us around...Very impressive..
The programme, the books, expectation and daily routine..Not so much on the programme...Most importantly no homework for 4 years old..

Almost fell in love but suddenly the teachers asked us to join her in the Admin room again.She said they are moving out.Their neighbourhood protest on their existence after their Islamic Kindy Banner is up. Their application to relocate to nearest corner house is not yet approved. The teacher said alternatively they need to move out into shoplot..sedihkan??

I called up one of my BFF. She told me her daughter's kindy was treated like that too. They have been asked to moved but they stay on.

Then I called the Principal to know the exact story. I did called her yesterday to set for an appointment but she was driving and today I just try my luck. She said they have been chased out bu surrounding neighbourhood. They have been ambushed by MBSA Enforcement Officer since these people are complaining.
Earlier when she named her kindy as Si Manja Keratif, the neighbour are quite warm with them. But when she put 'Little Caliph Islamic Kindergarten'..then the neighbour started making protest. You know why lah kan, obviously. She said she has been fighting, meeting after meeting but it is involve Datuk Bandar and ADUN. Kalau Smart Reader ker Qdees sure takkan kene halau eh??

Nothing can be done, and no one help her. Her application to relocate the kindy is also not yet approved. Yang paling best the ADUN asked her 'why can't you move out?'..BARUA!!!..kat FB takleh tulis perkataan ni, kat sini boleh..because this is my blog..hehe..ini yang buat aku nak chase out korang dari datang kat Tanah Melayu ni..iskkk..Apa nak buatkan ADUN Kota Kemuning pon bangsa dorang pon..adat lah tuh backing each other, kan?? nanti kang hilang vote pulak..election is coming..She spent a lot jugak but she said never mind and this is her Jihad...

Miss Norliza, semoga dipermudahkan urusan anda..amin!!She asked me to come back and meet her personally...I will insya allah..If I don't send Dania to you pon I will definitely support your Jihad, kan kawan2??

Another one more kindy to survey..tapi tatau nak carik kat mana..anyone heard Islamic Montessori in Kota Kemuning or Bukit Rimau or Berjaya Park, let me know eh..with day care of course..Dania seems so excited...
